What we do

Floral Hearts… exists as a conduit for flowers and people. Brings people together with flowers destined for landfill. Organised and run for day centres, anyone expressing a desire can join and along with others, spend a morning or afternoon arranging flowers, have a conversation, and having fun.

Floral Hearts… is a social enterprise that relies on donations, be that time, money, flowers or space, and every donation counts, so please be generous.

Floral Hearts… needs

• Flowers, foliage, and plants.
• Time, we need volunteers.
• Space, somewhere we can meet.
• Money, devices, expertise.

Floral Hearts goes into Day Centres and Community Centres with fresh flowers, foliages, and sundries and runs small flower arranging groups. The small groups are made up from the elderly, lonely or isolated. Each participant gets the opportunity to make their own small flower arrangement, learn a new skill, have fun and make new friends.

Floral Hearts needs donations of flowers, foliages, and sundries. We need cash donations and volunteers. We also need space where we can hold these groups.
